Job Description
This is a remote position.
An Italian teacher is responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating Italian language instruction to students.
Some specific job duties of an Italian teacher include:
- Preparing lesson plans and materials
- Instructing students in speaking, listening, reading and writing in Italian
- Evaluating student progress and providing feedback
- Preparing and administering assessments
- Communicating with parents and guardians about student progress
Requirements
- A teaching certification or equivalent qualifications
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Experience teaching Italian or another foreign language
- Knowledge of Italian culture and literature
- Strong classroom management skills
- Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles
- Willingness to stay current with new teaching methods and technologies
