Role & responsibilities
- Maintain proper inventory of pharmacy, dispensing medication in OP and IP, indent handling.
- Ensure proper inventory of medicines and disposables.
- Ensure correct dispensing of medicines against OP prescriptions and IP indents.
- Ensure to maintain double lock narcotics key, and maintain narcotic register properly.
- Ensure to write shortage medicines in corresponding book including bounce items
- Daily audits to reduce contra errors and quantity mismatches.
- In case of non-availability of drugs, follow escalation matrix with concern doctor/nurses to issuing substitute.
- Overall responsibility for all cash transactions involving OP and IP pharmacy and ensure timely remittance of sales procedure to accounts department.
- All pharmacy staff is responsible to maintain proper registers and doing GRN's
- To dispense "right drug, right dose to the right patient"
- Cross check with the patient bill, drug name, batch no, sale qty, expiry and mrp before going to dispense the medicines to patients.
- Dispense the drugs with speed, accuracy and taking care of cash transactions and handovers.
Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum Qualifications - D Pharmacy/B Pharmacy with Telangana PCI.
- Technical Qualifications Computer Knowledge
- Minimum 1 to 5 years in relevant experience.
- Co ordination with the staff and ability to work in a team
- Able to speak local language along with understanding of Hindi and English.
- Work Location: Ankura Hospital for Women & Children, 7A, NH 44, beside DPS, Petbasheerabad, Satyam Enclave, Kompally, Hyderabad, Telangana - 500067.
