Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Complete daily janitorial checklist and all assigned tasks. • Restock restrooms, general areas, and copy stations with necessary supplies (paper, towels, toilet paper, air fresheners) • Clean and sanitize all restrooms; check fixtures for leaks or malfunctions and report any deficiencies. • Empty all trash receptacles, condense waste, and neatly place in dumpsters; move dumpsters to designated areas on trash day. • Sweep, mop, and vacuum all floors, entryways, offices, and loading dock areas. • Dust and wipe down all surfaces including tables, desks, cafeteria, offices, and group rooms. • Clean interior and exterior windows, doors, and windowsills; wash exterior windows when weather permits. • Maintain cleanliness of building grounds, stairwells, and loading dock; remove litter and debris regularly. • Clean baseboards, dust blinds, and wash walls as needed. • Inspect building exterior, roof, and windows periodically; report issues to onsite AVP. • Remove snow and ice from walkways, stairs, and entrances; apply ice melt or rock salt as needed. • Operate snow removal equipment (snow blower, shovels) safely and efficiently. • Handle and dispose of biohazard materials, such as medication bottles, according to safety protocols. • Respond promptly to emergencies and escalate unresolved issues to management. • Notify management of maintenance or janitorial concerns. • Keep storage and work areas clean, organized, and stocked with supplies; ensure maintenance tools are properly stored. • Complete monthly building inspection checklist (e.g., exit signs, emergency light tests). • Assist with furniture moves and setup requests.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This person must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. They must be able to work at elevated heights (i.e. ladders, roof, etc.) You would be required the ability to lift files, open filling cabinets, and sit or stand as necessary. You would also be required to view a computer screen for long periods of time. Ability to communicate in English via phone, in writing, and verbally in conversation with different levels of staff patient families, and any outside patients.

Number of Position Openings: 1

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm with a rotating Saturday. Hours may vary depending upon agency needs, with the ability to work weekends. Must work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Experience and Skills:

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma/GED. Janitorial experience and a wiliness to learn new duties are required. Must be self-motivated, willing to take initiative, and be able to work without direct supervision. Employee must be punctual and dependable.
