Position Information

• Department: Operations
• Reports To: Supervisor
• Location: Mountain View, CA
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
• Hourly Rate: $19.20

Position Overview

The Janitor role plays a vital role in helping UBS deliver on our mission — to surpass expectations in delivering safe and welcoming spaces through reliable service and trusted relationships. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming facilities that meet UBS standards and reflect our commitment to quality, reliability, and care for every client site.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean the interior of buildings, including floors, carpets, rugs, windows, and walls.
• Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools, and phones.
• Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders when needed.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Clean and maintain restrooms.
• Washing and cleaning windows and mirrors.
• Notify the Supervisor of unsafe conditions.
• Dust furniture and fixtures.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma (preferred)
• Experience: 1+ years work experience (janitorial experience not required)
• Certifications/Licenses: Driver’s license
• Language Skills: Fluent in English or Spanish
• Must pass background check including E-Verify, DMV, and DOJ
