20 hours a week / Starting after 6PM

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• Prior work in the janitorial industry is preferred.
• Must be prompt with good attendance.
• Reliable transportation.
• Detail-oriented with an emphasis on safety.

Here at Summit Building Services, Inc. we are looking for a Janitor, or custodian, to take care of our buildings and carry out cleaning, maintenance and security duties. The goal is to keep our buildings in a clean and orderly condition.

General Job Description:

AREAS: Entry / Private offices / Reception / Conference rooms / Open work area “Bullpen”

1. Clean main entrance doors inside and out.

2. Sweep exterior walkway six feet from entry, remove dust from sills adject to entry doors and remove

cobwebs 6’on both side of entry door.

3. Spot clean and disinfect touch points, walls, light switches, door surfaces and woodwork.

4. Empty all waste baskets and replace trash liners as needed. (Liners Provided by the Client)

5. Dust all horizontal surfaces: including but not limited to office furnishings, desktops, credenza and file

cabinets, picture frames, door jams, windowsills, and baseboards.

6. Clean and disinfect conference room tables.

7. Vacuum all carpeted areas including carpeted stairs, steps, and landings.

8. Sweep and mop high traffic area hard floor surfaces.

9. Turn off all designated lights.

10. Remove trash to allocated dumpster.

11. Secure doors upon completion of work and set alarm.

AREAS: Break area

1. Refill dispensers as needed. (Provided by the Client)

2. Clean and refill coffee maker.

3. Empty trash, wipe down exterior and replace liners. (Provided by the Client)

4. Spot clean and disinfect countertops and cabinet exterior.

5. Deep clean cabinet fronts in break area.

6. clean exterior of all appliances.

7. Clean Microwaves inside & outside

8. Clean and disinfect all tables and chair.

9. Sweep and mop hard floors.

AREAS: Main entry

4. Spot clean and disinfect touch points, walls, light switches, door surfaces and woodwork.

6. Dust all horizontal surfaces: including but not limited to office furnishings, desktops, credenza and file

cabinets, picture frames, door jams, windowsills, and baseboards.

7. Clean and disinfect conference room tables.

1. Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper and seat cover dispensers. (Provided by the Client)

2. Empty and spot clean all wastepaper receptacles. Replace liners as needed. (Provided by the Client)

3. Clean and polish dispensers.

4. Clean mirrors.

5. Clean, sanitize and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilet bowls and seats.

6. Spot clean walls around wash basin.

7. Sweep and mop floors.

AREAS: Break area

1. Empty trash, wipe down exterior and replace liners. (Provided by the Client)

2. Clean and disinfect countertops and cabinet exterior.

3. Deep clean cabinet fronts in break area.

4. Clean exterior of refrigerator.

5. Clean microwave inside & outside.

6. Clean and disinfect all tables and chair.

7. Sweep and mop hard floors.

Two (2) Restrooms

1. Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper and seat cover dispensers. (Provided by the Client)

2. Empty and spot clean all wastepaper receptacles. Replace liners as needed. (Provided by the Client)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.18 per hour
