Janitor/Cleaner

Job Summary
Join our dynamic facilities team as a Janitor and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our commercial and residential properties. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for executing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks that keep our spaces functional, attractive, and inviting for staff, clients, and visitors alike.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
• Conduct routine custodial tasks such as dusting, trash removal, window washing, and surface disinfecting to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Operate floor care equipment including buffers and polishers to maintain shiny, well-maintained flooring.
• Assist with industrial cleaning projects or specialized custodial tasks as needed to support facility operations.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly to ensure a safe environment for all occupants.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory, restock supplies regularly, and ensure proper storage of equipment.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with other custodial staff and supporting additional maintenance duties when required.

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and industrial cleaning methods.
• Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment like buffers, vacuums, and floor scrubbers.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that involve standing, bending, lifting, and operating machinery for extended periods. Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
