Janitor/Cleaner

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a spotless appearance.
• Handle waste disposal by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly.
• Conduct routine custodial inspections to identify areas needing attention or repair.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing minor fixtures, or reporting larger repair needs.
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or hazards.
• Support special cleaning projects including industrial cleaning or deep sanitation as required.

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as basic repairs and equipment operation.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery like buffers, floor scrubbers, or carpet cleaners is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
