Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to preserve surface quality
• Handle industrial cleaning tasks including deep cleaning of large equipment or specialized areas as needed
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment
• Assist with custodial duties related to residential painting or minor repairs when required
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment during all cleaning and maintenance tasks

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a focus on commercial or industrial settings
• Strong knowledge of custodial practices including floor care techniques like buffing and waxing
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and extractors effectively
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance procedures and basic repair skills
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure thorough cleanliness across all areas
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving supplies throughout shifts
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.04 - $26.54 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
