Janitor/Cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the common areas of a mall, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in assigned areas.
• Maintain restrooms by cleaning and restocking supplies as necessary.
• Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
• Handle commercial cleaning tasks in various settings, including offices, warehouses, and residential properties.
• Assist with custodial duties related to facilities maintenance, ensuring all areas are safe and sanitary.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning assignments efficiently.

Skills

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
• Familiarity with floor care processes including buffing and waxing.
• Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning environments is a plus.
• Basic maintenance skills to assist with minor repairs or upkeep of facilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
