Janitor/Cleaner

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across various areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, to maintain pristine surfaces.
• Handle industrial cleaning tasks that may involve the use of specialized cleaning tools or chemicals for heavy-duty sanitation.
• Assist with custodial responsibilities related to facilities maintenance, including trash removal and restocking supplies.
• Support residential painting projects by preparing surfaces and assisting with touch-up tasks when required.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness through routine inspections and prompt attention to spills or messes.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning practices.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors Is a plus.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure thorough cleanliness across all areas.
