Janitor/Cleaner

Overview
Join our team as a Janitor/Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients. This flexible position offers the opportunity to contribute to the cleanliness and upkeep of a commercial/industrial space through diligent cleaning and custodial tasks. Your efforts will ensure that the facility meets high standards of hygiene and presentation, creating a positive experience for visitors, staff, and clients alike. The ideal candidate is looking for part-time evening and/or weekend work with a flexible schedule. This person will work alone most of the time in a light-industrial and office settings. There is the possibility of additional work either occasionally as needed or regularly scheduled if desired.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain a spotless appearance.
• Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as dusting, trash removal, window cleaning, restroom and kitchen/break room sanitation to uphold hygiene standards.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is properly stored and maintained for safety and efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Support additional custodial duties as needed in a commercial setting.
• Must be reliable, discrete and trustworthy.

Experience

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential environments is preferred but not required, we are willing to train.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills to manage supplies and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Reliable transportation is a must.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
