Job Summary
We are looking for a versatile Cleaner/Porter to join our Janitorial Division. This role serves two primary functions: maintaining high-standard commercial office environments and performing detail. The job may also entail completing turnover cleaning for Airbnb/Short-Term Rental properties. You are the "finishing touch" that ensures our clients' businesses and rental properties remain spotless and guest-ready.
Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Janitorial (Offices & Retail)
- Floor Care: Expertly sweep, damp-mop, and vacuum various flooring surfaces (carpet, tile, LVP).
- Surface Sanitation: Dust and disinfect high-touch points, including desks, partitions, electronics, and common areas.
- Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restrooms to industrial standards, ensuring all dispensers are fully stocked.
- Waste Removal: Collect and dispose of trash and recycling; replace liners and ensure bins are sanitized.
- Glass & Detail Cleaning: Clean interior windows, mirrors, and polished surfaces to a streak-free finish.
- Supply Management: Monitor cleaning chemical inventory and alert the supervisor when restocks are needed.
- Client Professionalism: Represent the company’s brand while working in active business environments, maintaining a polite and unobtrusive presence.
Airbnb & Hospitality Turnovers
- Staging & Presentation: Arrange furniture, pillows, and decor to "guest-ready" photos standards.
- Linens & Laundry: Strip beds, launder linens/towels (on-site or off-site as required), and professionally remake beds.
- Kitchen Detailing: Clean inside microwaves, fridges, and ovens; wash and put away any leftover dishes.
- Inventory Tracking: Check and replenish guest amenities (coffee, toiletries, toilet paper) and report any damages or missing items immediately.
Technical & Safety Requirements
- "Airbornes" & Dust: Ability to work in environments with airborne particulates (dust from high-volume traffic or cleaning vapors).
- PPE Compliance: Must be willing to wear gloves, masks, or eye protection as required by the specific job site or chemical use.
- Smartphone Proficiency: Ability to use apps for clocking in/out and uploading "after" photos of Airbnb properties for quality insurance.
Physical Requirements
- Agility: Must be able to bend, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Stamina: Ability to stay on your feet for 4–8 hour shifts.
- Travel: Must have reliable transportation to move between commercial sites and various Airbnb locations. ($25/week gas card)
Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ years in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping preferred.
- Reliability: Punctuality is non-negotiable, especially for Airbnb "check-in" windows.
While this is a cleaning role, an eye for detail and property care—the core of our company—is essential.
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
