Janitor / Hostler

We are seeking a dependable Janitor / Hostler to support fleet upkeep and facility needs. This is a safety-sensitive position subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain fleet vehicles, including buses, vans, and administrative/operations & safety vehicles (interior and exterior) using hand cleaning and garage bus wash system
• Fuel fleet and customer vehicles as needed
• Operate vehicles for cleaning and fueling purposes
• Maintain wash bay and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition
• Report vandalism, defects, or repair needs to maintenance
• Complete fuel tracking and related paperwork
• Perform facility cleaning as needed between scheduled cleaning services
• Assist with basic building and grounds maintenance

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; prior detailing, hostler, or janitorial experience preferred
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with acceptable driving record (MVR) required
• Must be willing to obtain a CDL Class B with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements (or already possess)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors and outdoors in all seasons
• Ability to follow instructions and interact professionally with coworkers and the public

Additional Information:

• Regular attendance required
• Must report license status changes, violations, or accidents to management immediately
