We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
• Handle commercial cleaning duties in both residential and industrial settings as needed.
• Assist with custodial tasks including waste disposal and recycling efforts.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Follow safety protocols while performing cleaning tasks to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with residential painting is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving equipment.
• A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and addressing potential issues before they escalate.
