Specific duties include but are not limited to:
The Janitorial Maintenance Technician responsibilities include:
- Keep buildings and restrooms clean and in orderly condition.
- Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing trash or waste materials.
- Routine maintenance activities and notifying management of needed repairs or any potential safety hazards.
- Maintaining grounds include mowing, debris removal and snow removal.
- Special event preparation such as setup and tear down meeting rooms.
Qualifications/Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical certifications or vocational training in relevant fields would be a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and practices in all aspects of maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures is beneficial.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic environment that involves metal fabrication, light assembly, configuration, and RF testing for transmitters.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability to identify issues, analyze problems, and propose solutions under the guidance of a supervisor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, in case of emergencies or urgent maintenance requirements.
- A positive and proactive approach to work, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in a related Janitorial Maintenance role.
- Computer knowledge and understanding.
Reports to: Facilities Manager or Operations Supervisor
This role involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in varying indoor/outdoor conditions
Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
