Janitorial Services Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitorial Services Worker to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at multifamily communities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure that their spaces meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your efforts will directly contribute to a positive experience for tenants, visitors, and clients alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity to have weekends off, competitive pay starting at $20.00/per hour, consistent weekly hours, and supportive leadership at a fast-growing company. Janitorial experience is not necessary. A Shymanski Shines team leader will provide training.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across various multi-family communities.
• Maintain floors through vacuuming, mopping and other floor care techniques to ensure the longevity of the floors.
• Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Assist with custodial responsibilities related to commercial cleaning standards and specific residential procedures.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or hazards promptly to ensure safety and operational efficiency .
• Use proper techniques for specialized cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning or window washing to uphold cleanliness standards
• Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a safe working environment for all staff and visitors

Experience

• Janitorial experience and knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures and equipment familiarity is a plus. However, specific training will be provided by Shymanski Shines.
• Must display ethical and professional behavior; respect for colleagues while treating individuals with courtesy and respect.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.93 - $26.41 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
