Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
• Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and well-maintained.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and polishing as needed.
• Handle commercial cleaning duties in various settings including offices, schools, or industrial sites.
• Assist with custodial tasks related to facilities maintenance and upkeep.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored properly.
• Provide porter services as required, assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment during events or cleanings.

Skills

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with floor care processes including buffing and waxing is beneficial.
• Experience in commercial cleaning environments is a plus.
• Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks safely and effectively.
• Basic maintenance skills to assist with minor repairs or upkeep of facilities.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
