Position Overview

Xplicit Technologies, LLC is seeking a reliable Janitorial Maintenance Worker to provide professional cleaning services for the National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office in Spokane, WA. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Schedule & Hours

• Days: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
• Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Hours: Approximately 6–8 total hours per week (about 2 hours per evening shift)

Scope of Work / Responsibilities

The Janitorial Maintenance Worker will maintain approximately 6,016 square feet of office, restroom, and common areas to a high standard of cleanliness. Duties include:

• Emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners
• Sweeping and vacuuming all floors and carpets
• Dusting and wiping down desks, counters, windowsills, and ledges
• Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms (sinks, toilets, mirrors, and fixtures) and replenishing supplies
• Mopping hard-surface floors
• Cleaning kitchen/breakroom areas, including counters, sinks, and appliances
• Spot cleaning interior glass and entry doors
• Performing monthly high/low dusting and interior glass cleaning as scheduled
• Following all safety protocols and securing the building after each service

All cleaning products and consumables meet USDA BioPreferred and environmentally responsible standards.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial or facilities cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Must pass a federal background check (HSPD-12) after tentative selection
• Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor in a federal facility

Additional Information

This position is contingent upon Xplicit Technologies, LLC being awarded the federal janitorial services contract.
All equipment, supplies, uniforms, and training will be provided.
