Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of common areas, offices, restrooms, hallways, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to keep surfaces spotless and well-maintained
• Handle industrial cleaning tasks including trash removal, window washing, and deep cleaning projects as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, break rooms, and sanitation stations to promote health standards
• Assist with light maintenance duties such as replacing light bulbs or minor repairs to ensure facilities are fully operational
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
• Keep detailed records of completed tasks and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work within commercial or residential settings
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and floor care methods including buffing and polishing
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners efficiently
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning processes and facilities maintenance practices
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving supplies throughout shifts
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly
