Job Title: Japanese Master Executive Head Chef

Location: Restaurant (Full-Time Position)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Japanese Master Executive Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in authentic Japanese cuisine, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for excellence in food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all kitchen operations and ensure high culinary standards
  • Develop and design authentic Japanese menus (sushi, sashimi, robata, ramen, tempura, etc.)
  • Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality
  • Manage food cost, inventory control, and supplier relationships
  • Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Introduce seasonal and innovative Japanese dishes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Japanese cuisine
  • Proven experience as an Executive Head Chef in a Japanese restaurant
  • Mastery of traditional Japanese cooking techniques
  • Strong knowledge of sushi preparation and premium seafood handling
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to manage kitchen budgets and control costs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • English proficiency required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Culinary certification in Japanese cuisine
  • Experience in fine dining or high-volume Japanese restaurants
