Japanese/English Bilingual Industrial Project Manager

This is a multi-year assignment supporting CSI’s major client in the steel and materials sector.

Who You Are
You are an organized, proactive professional who thrives in complex industrial project environments and enjoys solving coordination challenges on fast-moving construction sites.

You have:

• 3+ years of experience in project coordination, construction management, equipment installation, or similar industrial settings
• Experience working in manufacturing, heavy industry, steel, construction, or capital equipment projects
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to interface effectively with engineering teams, equipment suppliers, and construction contractors
• Japanese language ability preferred but not required
• A bachelor’s degree in any field (preferred but not required)

What You’ll Do
You will support CSI’s client on-site at major U.S. industrial facilities, coordinating construction activities, equipment installations, vendor interface, and schedule management.

This includes:

• Acting as the interface between client engineering teams, external engineering firms, equipment manufacturers, and construction contractors
• Supporting day-to-day construction and installation activities, including schedule tracking, contractor coordination, and issue escalation
• Managing meeting updates, KPI reporting, and milestone progress tracking
• Identifying risks and communicating delays or roadblocks early
• Ensuring adherence to plant safety standards
• Providing daily visibility to client management on project status
• Supporting communication between U.S. and Japan-based stakeholders

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
