We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Backend Developer with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Cassandra. This role involves designing and developing backend applications, building scalable microservices, and integrating with messaging systems and distributed databases. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Integrate systems with messaging platforms such as Kafka.
• Work with Cassandra for distributed data management and high-volume data storage.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and reliable application architecture.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Cassandra.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or similar) preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
