Java Developer

Client: The company's objective is to enhance the integration of the care process and make significant strides in the realm of behavioral healthcare. Within this domain, crisis intervention plays a pivotal role, and the company aims to create its own technological solutions to establish seamless connections and provide assistance across the three fundamental crisis services: crisis call centers, mobile response teams, and the process of locating appropriate inpatient or crisis beds.
Position overview: We're seeking a proficient Java engineer who is focused on delivering tangible outcomes.

• Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain the backend of our application using Spring Boot 3.1.x framework
• Create and manage RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data communication between the frontend and backend components.
• Establish secure connections to a PostgreSQL database, ensuring data integrity and reliability
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, data scientists, and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions
• Troubleshoot and debug backend issues, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance

• 4+ years of production experience in Java
• Proficiency in Spring Boot 3.1.x for backend development.
• Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of database connectivity, particularly with PostgreSQL.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Nice to have: Familiarity with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as IntelijIdea, Visual Studio Code (VScode) Spring Tool Suite.
