Job Description:

We are seeking a proficient and detail-oriented Java Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience in designing and developing scalable backend applications using Spring Boot and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate should possess strong backend programming skills, experience in API development, and a solid understanding of modern software development methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot framework

● Develop and optimize PostgreSQL queries, stored procedures, and data models

● Build and integrate RESTful APIs with external systems and services

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment

● Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices

● Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and security guidelines

● Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across environments

● Participate in architecture design discussions and contribute to technical decisions

Required Skills:

● 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Java development using Spring Boot

● Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL, including writing complex SQL queries

● Experience with RESTful API design and implementation

● Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns

● Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools

● Experience with Maven/Gradle build tools

● Understanding of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or Mockito

Preferred Skills:

● Experience with frontend technologies like Angular or React (a plus)

● Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

● Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

● Basic understanding of application testing (web, desktop, mobile, APIs)

● Attention to detail with strong documentation habits

Educational Qualification:

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Fully remote position; must be available during EST working hours
