Java SDK / Library Developer

NOTE: Remote - (MANDATORY) Inperson Interview at Harrisburg, PA and pick up equipment.

Position: Senior Full Stack GIS Developer Client is seeking a mid-level to senior Application Developer to support the design and development. The developer will work under the guidance of the Technical Lead and Application Architect to build and enhance enterprise applications using Angular, Java, Spring Boot, GIS technologies, and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain application features using Angular, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive and accessible web applications following modern UI standards.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and GIS services.
• Develop geospatial solutions using Esri ArcGIS Maps API/SDK for JavaScript.
• Integrate Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting.
• Work with spatial and relational databases such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
• Ensure applications comply with WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508, and ADA accessibility standards.
• Use Git/Azure Repos and modern development tools for collaboration and version control.

Required Skills

• 8+ years experience with Angular (v14+ preferred), HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Java, Spring Boot, and GIS integrations.
• Experience with ArcGIS technologies (ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise).
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL/PostGIS or other database systems.
• Experience with JUnit, Jasmine, or Karma testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Bootstrap/Material Design and responsive/mobile-first development.
• Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and accessibility standards.

Desired

• Experience with ArcGIS tools (ArcPro, GeoEvent, Experience Builder, Survey123, Field Maps).
• Experience integrating accessibility testing into development workflows.
• Prior public sector or enterprise GIS application experience.
