What You’ll Be Doing

As a Software Engineer, you’ll:

• Design, develop, and maintain tools and services that support enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms.

• Work cross-functionally with software developers, system administrators, project managers, and mission customers.

• Deliver seamless integrations that improve usability and support the agency's broader mission objectives.

• Develop in high-performance environments with technologies such as containerization tools, real-time systems, data transport services, and mission-critical application monitoring systems.

Required Skills

• Proficiency using the Linux Command Line Interface (CLI)

• Development experience with Java, Python, or Rust in a Linux environment

• Experience writing Bash, Python, or Groovy scripts to automate tasks and workflows

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Salt, or Puppet

• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and practices

Desired Skills

• Experience maintaining mission-critical applications in a Linux environment

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills when working with external customers

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline

• Top Secret clearance with successful polygraph
