JCB Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced JCB Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating heavy equipment with a focus on safety, precision, and efficiency. This role involves digging, grading, trenching, and moving earth and materials to support various construction and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate JCB and other heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform site preparation, trenching, grading, and backfilling
• Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs
• Follow project plans and supervisor instructions
• Ensure work is completed on schedule and to specification
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Comply with company safety standards and regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating an excavator (4+ years preferred)
• Valid license
• Knowledge of construction procedures and safety guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
