JDE Technical Consultant

Responsibilities

• Architecting solutions to complex problems using advanced modeling, simulation, and analysis tools and techniques
• Designing, consulting, enhancing, and implementing Oracle JD Edwards
• Performing administration and troubleshooting in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Database environments
• Designing and developing custom web-based applications using Oracle Application Express and Oracle PL/SQL
• Designing and developing application interfaces using Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Visual Basic, and Dot NET/.NET
• Participating in the operation support of the JD Edwards system, including maintenance tasks, enhancements, and user support
• Analyzing data contained in the corporate database and identifying data integrity issues
• Performing code changes for small initiatives via ad hoc requests
Supporting integration testing of enterprise systems and post-implementation validation

Candidate Requirments

• The ability to query and update the database
• Great communication skills with proven ability to collaborate with colleagues in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years’ experience supporting the JD Edwards system
