Jewelry CAD Designer

Overview:

Professional CAD Master responsible for high volume, daily preparation of production-ready CAD files for fine jewelry manufacturing. This role requires a highly technical CAD expert capable of creating precise mockups based on detailed design briefs, measurements, stone specifications, and production constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and clean production CADs for casting and manufacturing on a daily basis.

Develop detailed 3D models based on sketches, references, and written specifications.

Ensure all designs meet structural, aesthetic, and manufacturing standards.

Apply correct tolerances for stone setting, metal thickness, and durability.

Collaborate closely with the design and production teams to apply revisions efficiently.

Deliver files in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment without compromising quality.

Required Qualifications:

Advanced professional experience in Rhino is mandatory.

Advanced professional experience in Matrix Gold is mandatory.

Strong technical understanding of jewelry construction, stone setting, and casting processes.

Ability to interpret detailed specifications with minimal supervision.

High attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency.

Proven ability to manage large daily workloads under tight deadlines.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
