Job Summary

Duties

• Create detailed 3D CAD models of jewelry pieces using industry-standard software, ensuring accuracy and aesthetic appeal
• Collaborate closely with designers, gemologists, and production teams to refine designs and incorporate feedback
• Develop prototypes and renderings that visualize the final product for presentations and client approvals
• Maintain organized design files and documentation throughout the product development lifecycle
• Assist in translating traditional sketches or concepts into digital formats suitable for manufacturing
• Stay updated on current jewelry trends, fashion influences, and technological advancements in CAD software
• Support product lifecycle management by ensuring designs meet quality standards and production specifications

Experience

• Proven experience in jewelry CAD design or related fields such as fashion design or graphic design
• Proficiency in CAD software applications specific to jewelry design (e.g., Rhino, MatrixGold, ZBrush)
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite tools including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for rendering and presentation purposes
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management processes within jewelry manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with fashion retail trends, merchandising, and styling principles to create commercially appealing designs
• Understanding of garment construction, sewing techniques, color theory, and illustration enhances design versatility
• Experience with fashion styling or theater set design is a plus for creative inspiration
• Ability to interpret sketches, technical drawings, and conceptual ideas into precise digital models
