JIRA & Atlassian Administration Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain JIRA projects, workflows, screens, custom fields, user roles, permissions, and system configurations.
  • Support departmental teams in designing JIRA workflows that reflect business processes for SDLC, CAB, PMO, QA, and Service Management.
  • Collaborate with governance and quality teams to implement traceable, audit-ready setups aligned with ITQMS and delivery standards.
  • Build and manage custom dashboards and advanced filters (JQL) for team-level and executive reporting.
  • Integrate JIRA with Confluence, Bitbucket, and Power BI for end-to-end tracking and reporting.
  • Automate tasks using JIRA Automation, ScriptRunner, or REST API for notifications, field updates, and ticket transitions.
  • Manage plugin installations and evaluations, ensuring compatibility, license compliance, and platform stability.
  • Train and support users across business and technical units on efficient JIRA usage, best practices, and self-service reporting.
  • Coordinate with hosting/infra teams for system upgrades, backups, and performance monitoring.
  • Maintain proper documentation for configurations, processes, and governance usage guidelines.
