For the Client's Test Management Enablement & Automation engagement, CodeNinja brings a dedicated 12-person specialist team spanning Test Management, Automation Engineering, AI/ML, and Performance Testing — all governed under a structured 20-week program delivery framework.

About the Role

The Jira Integration & DevOps Engineer builds the two-way Client-Jira and Xray integration, configures CI/CD pipelines, sets up distributed runners, and creates automation coverage dashboards. This role is the connective tissue between the automation framework and the client's project governance infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain two-way integration between the automation framework and the client's Jira + Xray instance via REST APIs.
• Sync test plans, test cases, execution results, screenshots, and logs automatically from automation runs to Xray.
• Configure Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD pipelines with automated test execution gates (smoke, regression, performance).
• Set up distributed/parallel test runners for scalable execution.
• Build real-time automation coverage dashboards showing pass/fail trends, coverage %, and defect traceability.
• Manage Jira project configuration, custom fields, workflows, and Xray test repository structure.
• Support nightly scheduled regression runs and on-demand execution triggers.

Requirements

• 
  6+ years of DevOps/integration engineering experience.
• Expert-level Jira and Xray administration with REST API integration experience.
• Strong CI/CD pipeline skills with Jenkins or GitLab (Jenkinsfile, .gitlab-ci.yml).
• Experience configuring distributed runners (Selenium Grid, containerised runners).
• Proficiency in scripting (Groovy, Python, or Bash) for pipeline automation.
• Experience building QA dashboards (Allure, Grafana, or custom solutions).
• Preferred Certifications: Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator, Jenkins CI Engineer, GitLab Certified Associate.
