Job Coach / Direct Support Professional - DSP (no overnights, drivers license required)

Location: Cloquet/Carlton

Starting Pay: $18.50 – $20.50/hour (based on relevant experience, education, availability, and type of work)

Hours (NO Overnights. NO Mandating): Part-time (16hr/wk to 34hr/wk) custom, set schedule based on applicant availability and current clients' needs.

What You’ll Do:

As a DSP with TLC, you’ll support others build daily independent living skills such as:

• Cooking, shopping, and cleaning
• Time and money management
• Navigating community resources
• Building social connectedness and refine communication skills
• Encouraging self-advocacy and independence

Requirements:

• Driver's license
• Ability to pass MVR check
• Ability to pass the DHS NetStudy 2.0 background check
• Ability to work independently, yet warmly receive direction. Make independent decisions based upon standard policies and procedures, as well as use personal judgment in-step with TLC's core values in day-to-day activities.
• HS Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred:

• (1) year experience in a DSP, human services, teaching/education, nursing.
