Job Title: Senior Architect / Interior Designer - Site Representative (Luxury Residential Project)

Location: Business Bay, Dubai, UAE

Experience: 12+ years

Commitment: Full-time, 6 days a week

About the Role

We are a leading interior design consultancy working on a prestigious luxury residential apartment project in Dubai. We are looking for a Senior Architect / Interior Designer to be our on-site representative, ensuring our design vision is executed with precision while coordinating seamlessly between the site team and our design office.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the Interior Design Consultancy on site, ensuring that the design intent is fully understood and accurately implemented throughout the project.
• Coordinate effectively between the client, site team, contractors, suppliers, and the design office to resolve design, technical, and coordination issues in a timely manner.
• Review and comment on shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, and finish samples, ensuring all approvals strictly align with the design concept and specifications.
• Monitor construction progress and workmanship quality, with particular emphasis on premium finishes, joinery, millwork, and detailing expected in high end residential and hospitality projects.
• Provide clear on-site guidance and supervision to contractors to ensure compliance with the consultancy's design standards and project vision.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare reports highlighting progress, design deviations, and required corrective actions.
• Maintain consistent communication with the design office, providing updates, flagging issues, and ensuring seamless design flow from office to site.

Mandatory Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience working within an Interior Design Consultancy office (not solely with contractors or fit out firms).
• Proven track record delivering high end residential and luxury hospitality projects, specifically with high attention to detailing, materials, and finishes.
• Strong understanding of interior design drawings, specifications, and material standards.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain professional communication under site conditions.
• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions on site.
• Based in Dubai or willing to relocate immediately.
