House Worker Center
House Worker Center is seeking an attorney to join our internal legal team as part of the
organization.
This position is exclusively for attorneys who wish to be employed and work under the name,
structure, and representation of House Worker Center. This is not an external, independent, or
consulting position.
REQUIRED PROFILE
- Attorney with an active U.S. license
- Experience in Immigration Law (strongly preferred)
- Experience in Employment/Labor Law (highly desirable)
- Ability to work within established institutional procedures
- Strong teamwork skills and respect for organizational structure
LANGUAGE
- Bilingual English–Spanish (PLUS)
Not required, but a significant advantage for community-based work.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Court appearances in cases assigned by the organization
- Signing documents in accordance with House Worker Center procedures
- Preparation and review of immigration applications
- Collaborative work with DOJ-accredited legal staff
- Compliance with institutional guidelines and supervision
