Job Opening: Hotel Maintenance Person

Our hotel is undergoing a major transformation and needs multiple dedicated Maintenance Person to keep our property looking its best, both during and after our extensive renovation!

The Opportunity

This is an exciting time to join our team, as you will be responsible for maintaining a revitalized, high-quality property. You will work on keeping the hotel in compliance with both brand standards and guest expectations for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform and oversee all general maintenance, repair, and upkeep tasks for guest rooms and common areas.
• Manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all hotel systems and equipment, as required by brand standards.
• Perform or assist with repairs and upkeep of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Assist in and oversee the ongoing maintenance of the exterior facade, porte cochere, and grounds, including parking and landscaped areas.
• Troubleshoot and repair interior finishes, including drywall, paint, wallpaper, flooring, and minor carpentry.
• Ensure all appliances and fixtures (e.g., tubs, vanities, faucets, light fixtures) are in excellent working order and comply with brand specifications.
• Maintain safety, security, and risk control systems throughout the property.

This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from SureStay by Best Western. The franchisee controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by the franchisee, not by SureStay by Best Western.
