Mechanical Design Engineer – Panel Enclosures

Experience Required: 3–5 years

Job Description:

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in designing panel enclosures, particularly for switchgear or related applications. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, industry experience, and a willingness to adapt to new design tools and systems.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience specifically in designing enclosures for:
• Switchgear
• Control panels
• Other electrical applications (This is a must)
• Experience working in the GCC region
• Familiarity with panel factories or panel builders environment
• Proficient in mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new design software and tools

Educational & Technical Background:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Hands-on experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
• Understanding of thermal management, IP ratings, and fabrication standards for enclosures
• Knowledge of electrical panel construction standards is an added advantage
