Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all phases of new home construction and renovation projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate daily workflow and sequencing of subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Conduct thorough quality control inspections at every stage of construction, identifying and resolving deficiencies promptly.
- Maintain detailed daily logs, site reports, and documentation of progress, materials, and on-site activities.
- Enforce all safety protocols and ensure full compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, project managers, inspectors, and trade partners.
- Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to verify work is executed to plan.
- Anticipate and resolve project challenges proactively to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Manage material deliveries, inventory, and equipment to support efficient job site operations.
- Mentor and lead site labor, fostering a professional, productive, and safety-first environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Job Superintendent or Site Supervisor in residential construction.
- Proven track record managing new home builds and/or large-scale renovations from foundation to completion.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and inspection processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a relentless commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills across concurrent projects.
- Solid ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead teams and liaise with clients.
- Proficiency with project management tools, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Construction-related certification or trade background is a strong asset.
