About Us:

Summon Electronics is a growing technology-driven electronics company developing RFQGenie — a smart B2B web platform to streamline supplier communication, authentication, and quoting. We’re looking for an experienced backend expert to help us finalize and stabilize our One-Login Genie backend, including authentication, database connection, and transactional email systems.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and fix current MySQL connection and configuration issues on DigitalOcean (Ubuntu).
• Integrate and maintain Node.js backend with ZeptoMail for transactional emails (user verification, notifications).
• Review .env environment setup and PM2 process management.
• Optimize API endpoints, database queries, and security for production.
• Ensure seamless login/registration flows via unified backend authentication.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Node.js, Express, MySQL, Ubuntu/Linux servers, and PM2.
• Strong knowledge of DigitalOcean droplets and environment configuration.
• Understanding of SMTP (ZeptoMail or similar) integration.
• Ability to troubleshoot database connections and deploy updates safely.
• Available for immediate work and fast issue resolution.
