Job Title: SEO Team Leader (Client-Facing + Strategy)

We are hiring an experienced SEO Team Leader to lead strategy, manage client communication, and ensure high-quality SEO execution.

Role Overview

This is a leadership role combining:

✔ SEO Strategy & Planning
✔ Client Communication
✔ Execution Oversight
✔ Team Leadership

You will own SEO performance across accounts while guiding the internal team.

Key Responsibilities

1️. Client Communication & Retention

• Lead monthly & strategy calls with international clients (US / AU / NZ)
• Present SEO reports, KPIs, and growth plans
• Explain ranking changes & SEO activities
• Answer SEO-related questions confidently
• Maintain strong client relationships
• Share call summaries & action plans internally

2️. SEO Strategy & Planning

• Develop SEO strategies per client
• Set priorities & SEO roadmaps
• Perform competitor & SERP analysis
• Monitor Google algorithm updates
• Identify growth opportunities via:
• Google Search Console
• Google Analytics
• Technical audits

3️. Execution Oversight & Quality Control

• Review & approve:
• On-page SEO
• Technical SEO fixes
• Content optimization
• Maintain SEO quality standards
• Assist with execution when needed

No backlink building required

4️. Team Leadership

• Assign & monitor tasks
• Ensure deadlines & quality
• Mentor junior SEO team members
• Improve workflow efficiency

Required Skills & Experience

✔ 4–6 years of practical SEO experience
✔ Strong expertise in On-page & Technical SEO
✔ Experience managing SEO campaigns
✔ Strong SEO strategy skills
✔ Excellent spoken English
✔ Confident on Zoom / Google Meet
✔ Experience with international clients preferred
✔ Leadership & ownership mindset

Tools Knowledge

• Google Search Console
• Google Analytics
• Ahrefs / SEMrush
• Screaming Frog (or similar tools)

Compensation

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹50,000 / month
(Based on experience, skills & communication)
