About the Position Are you a naturally talkative, high-energy person who loves making a difference? We are looking for a vibrant caregiver to Join Meagan’s Team! Meagan is a 33-year-old woman with Cerebral Palsy who lives a life full of community connection, faith, and social activity.

Meagan uses a power wheelchair and is very active in Dana Point. We are looking for a long-term "people person" who can keep up with her social schedule and bring a joyful, positive spirit to every shift.

The Ideal Candidate:

• High Energy: You love to talk, engage, and bring a bright "can-do" attitude.
• Reliable: You have your own car to get to work (though you will drive Meagan's van during shifts).
• Committed: You are looking for a stable, long-term position.

Schedule:

• Days: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Weekends.
• Shifts: Focused, shorter shifts (not long days).
• Training: Full

Paid Training is provided.Key Responsibilities: Meagan requires full assistance with all daily tasks:

• Daily Living: Complete assistance with feeding, hygiene, and diaper changes.
• Equipment: Operating a manual Hoyer lift, shower chair, and navigating her power chair.
• Transportation: Driving Meagan's specialized van (equipped with EZ-lock) to outings.
• Community Outings: Accompanying Meagan to swimming (she has an instructor, so you stay dry!) and her social clubs in the Dana Point area.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous caregiving experience is preferred.
• Transportation: Must have your own reliable vehicle to commute to the job site.
• Personality: Must be outgoing and comfortable in social settings.
• Medication: Assistance with medication administration and monitoring.
