Joinery Carpenter

Job Overview:

The Carpenter is responsible for executing high-quality joinery work, including cutting, assembling, and fitting wood components for furniture and interior projects. While primarily a hands-on role, ensuring the quality and efficiency of work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Joinery & Assembly Work

Operate woodworking machinery (edgebanders, etc.).

Cut, shape, and assemble furniture components based on technical drawings.

Ensure precise fitting of joinery components, including cabinets, doors, panels, and trims.

Conduct minor adjustments and modifications as needed.

2. Quality & Finishing Preparations

Perform sanding, edge finishing, and pre-finishing preparations.

Check for defects, proper alignment, and smooth surfaces before finishing.

3. Maintenance & Safety

Maintain tools and machinery in good condition.

Follow safety protocols and proper material handling procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience: 4+ years in a joinery workshop with hands-on experience in furniture making.

Technical Skills: Expertise in woodworking machinery, joinery techniques, and material handling.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,500.00 per month

Experience:

• Carpentry: 4 years (Preferred)
