Job Title - Joinery Draftsman

Job Summary:

A Joinery Draftsman prepares detailed technical drawings and production documentation for custom joinery, cabinetry, woodwork, and interior fit-out projects. The role involves converting design concepts into accurate shop drawings suitable for manufacturing and installation while coordinating with designers, production teams, site engineers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed joinery and cabinetry shop drawings.
• Develop 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software.
• Produce cutting lists, material specifications, and assembly details.
• Coordinate with interior designers, architects, and project managers.
• Review project specifications, BOQs, and design intent drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards and manufacturing requirements.
• Modify drawings based on site conditions and client feedback.
• Coordinate with factory and installation teams for production accuracy.
• Conduct site measurements when required.
• Maintain drawing revisions and documentation control.
• Assist in material estimation and production planning.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in joinery drafting, woodworking, or interior fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of joinery construction methods and materials.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and installation processes.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in:
• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• SolidWorks (optional)
• Cabinet Vision (preferred)
• Microsoft Office
• Ability to read architectural and interior drawings.
• Understanding of materials, hardware, finishes, and production techniques.
• Familiarity with CNC production drawings is an advantage.

Immediate joining preferred

Candidate must have 4+ years of UAE experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
