Joinery Draftsman - Joinery & Interior Fit-out Background

Key Job Responsibilities

• Cutting List Generation: Prepare precise, itemized lists of all components (furniture, stone, glass, wood) for fabrication, including material type, quantity, dimensions, and edge lipping details.
• Shop Drawings: Develop detailed 2D/3D shop drawings, plans, elevations, and sections for fit-out projects.
• Production Liaison: Coordinate directly with factory production teams and CNC operators to ensure drawings and cutting lists are technically accurate.
• Material Optimization: Ensure material utilization is optimized to minimize waste.
• Site Coordination: Align shop drawings with site measurements and, if necessary, create as-built drawings to reflect final installed work.
• Revision Management: Update drawings and cutting lists based on feedback from architects, consultants, or changes in site conditions.
• Technical Compliance: Ensure all specifications comply with industry standards, project requirements, and HSE standards.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), SolidWorks, or Revit.
• Deep knowledge of joinery construction methods, joinery materials, and cabinet assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform material quantity take-offs

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
