Joinery Draftsman - Senior Level

We are hiring an experienced Draftsman – Joinery to prepare and coordinate detailed shop drawings for joinery and furniture works. The role involves close coordination with design, production, and project teams to ensure drawings are accurate and suitable for manufacturing and installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings using AutoCAD
• Convert design drawings and specifications into production-ready drawings
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, and production team
• Update and revise drawings based on project requirements and approvals
• Ensure accuracy of dimensions, materials, and construction details
• Maintain proper records of drawings and revisions
• Provide technical clarification to factory and site teams when required

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Joinery Draftsman
• Strong knowledge of joinery construction, materials, and fittings
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Ability to read and understand architectural and interior drawings
• Experience in furniture manufacturing or joinery companies
• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Drafting, or related field
• Experience handling complex joinery or custom furniture projects
• Knowledge of SketchUp or 3D software is an advantage
