Joinery Draughtsman (Interior Fit-outs for Retail Stores)

Roles & responsibilities

Location: Mumbai, India

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Draughtsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our design and project execution process, contributing to the successful delivery of our interior fit-out projects. Expertise working with retail clients in the Middle-East is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed technical and shop drawings, plans, and blueprints for interior fit-out projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with architects, designers, engineers, and project managers throughout the design and construction phases.
• Incorporate electromechanical systems into design plans, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Review and revise drawings as needed to accommodate changes or modifications during project development.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain necessary information and materials for project execution.
• Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation and specifications.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting technical and shop drawings.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience and understanding of electromechanical systems and their integration into interior fit-out designs is a plus.
• Experience working on interior fit-out projects in the Middle East, is a plus.
• Proficiency in 3DS Max is a plus.

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Additional certification or training in drafting and design is a plus.
