Joinery Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Joinery Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and coordinating with internal teams to support project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare accurate joinery estimates.
• Conduct material take-offs, calculate quantities, and identify required resources.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns including materials, labor, production hours, and subcontractor pricing.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain competitive quotations for materials and services.
• Prepare tender submissions, pricing schedules, and technical clarifications.
• Work closely with the design, production, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on project scope and costing.
• Identify value engineering options to optimize cost without compromising quality.
• Analyze project risks, constraints, and special requirements.
• Maintain an updated database of material prices, production rates, and supplier contacts.
• Assist the project team during negotiations, variations, and final cost adjustments.
• Ensure estimates comply with company standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Joinery Estimator in fit-out or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of joinery materials, production processes, and installation methods.
• Ability to interpret drawings (AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage).
• Excellent numerical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
