Joinery Factory Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Joinery Factory Foreman responsible for supervising daily joinery manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and delivery schedules are consistently achieved. The role involves managing factory teams and coordinating with production planning, QA/QC, procurement, and logistics to ensure all joinery products are manufactured according to approved drawings and company standards.

Responsibilities

· Supervise daily joinery production activities within the factory

· Allocate manpower and assign tasks to carpenters, machinists, assemblers, sanders, and finishing teams

· Ensure all manufacturing work follows approved shop drawings, specifications, and production schedules

· Monitor daily output, workflow, and production targets across all factory sections

· Coordinate operations between cutting, assembly, sanding, polishing, and packing departments

· Ensure proper sequencing of production activities for efficient workflow

· Monitor machine usage and ensure optimal equipment utilization

· Supervise workforce productivity, attendance, discipline, and performance

· Conduct daily toolbox talks and production briefings

· Train and guide workers on production methods, quality standards, and procedures

· Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure products meet required quality standards

· Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented to reduce rework

· Monitor material usage and coordinate with procurement and store teams for availability

· Ensure proper storage, handling, and usage of materials to minimize waste

· Coordinate packing and dispatch preparation for completed items

· Ensure compliance with factory health and safety regulations and proper use of PPE

· Monitor safe operation of machinery and report any hazards or equipment issues

· Maintain daily production reports, manpower records, and progress updates

· Report delays, shortages, and operational issues to management

Requirements

· Diploma or Technical Qualification in Carpentry, Joinery, Woodworking, or a related field

· Minimum 4–5 years of experience in joinery factory production supervision (carpentry background preferred)

· Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes and factory operations

· Experience in bespoke and high-end joinery production is preferred

· Ability to read and interpret technical and shop drawings

· Knowledge of woodworking machinery and factory equipment

· UAE/GCC experience is an advantage

· Strong leadership, team coordination, and problem-solving skills

· Good understanding of production workflow, quality control, and safety standards

· Hands-on knowledge of joinery machinery such as CNC machines, edge banders, panel saws, spray booths, and sanding equipment
