Joinery Production In-Charge

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day joinery production with a primary focus on HPL (High Pressure Laminate) works.
• Plan, organize, and monitor production schedules to meet project timelines and quality requirements.
• Supervise carpenters, machine operators, and factory staff to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
• Ensure proper handling, cutting, pressing, edging, and finishing of HPL panels as per approved shop drawings.
• Maintain quality control standards and ensure finished products comply with specifications and client expectations.
• Coordinate with design, estimation, procurement, and site teams for smooth execution of joinery works.
• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage of HPL boards, MDF, plywood, and related accessories.
• Ensure machinery, tools, and equipment are used safely and maintained properly.
• Implement and enforce factory safety rules and housekeeping standards.
• Identify production issues and provide practical solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
• Prepare daily and weekly production reports and update management on progress.

Requirements & Skills

• Proven experience in joinery production, specifically HPL works.
• Strong knowledge of joinery materials, fittings, and finishing standards.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings and production details.
• Good leadership and team-handling skills.
• Strong coordination and communication abilities.
• Experience working in joinery factories or fit-out companies (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
