We are looking for a skilled Joinery Production Manager to lead and manage end-to-end joinery manufacturing operations for interior fit-out projects, exhibition stands, and kiosks.
The role focuses on driving efficient factory performance, maintaining high quality standards, and ensuring timely project delivery within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee day-to-day joinery production activities
- Lead and manage the production team including foremen, carpenters, machine operators, and polishers
- Develop and track production schedules based on project timelines and site requirements
- Ensure all joinery items are produced as per approved drawings and specifications
- Coordinate closely with design, project, and site teams to meet delivery targets
- Monitor material usage, minimize wastage, and control production costs
- Ensure proper operation, servicing, and maintenance of machinery and tools
- Enforce quality control procedures and workplace safety standards
- Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and finished products
- Manage manpower allocation, productivity, and overtime planning
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely supply of materials, hardware, and finishes
- Support value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain production reports, documentation, and performance records
Qualifications & Experience
- 6 years of experience in joinery production within interior fit-out/exhibition companies
- At least 3 years in a Production Manager or Factory Manager role
- Strong knowledge of joinery materials, hardware, finishes, and manufacturing processes
- Hands-on experience with CNC machines, panel saws, edge banding, sanding, and finishing
